Anatomy and biomechanics

Bodies in lateral decubitus or semi-supine, with legs interlaced in an X to allow direct genital contact (tribadism/frottage). There is no weight bearing or penetration; the stimulation is external, from friction, and both people control pressure and rhythm with the pelvis. Very low physical impact.

Why this position works

Direct genital contact, skin on skin, creates very intense external stimulation without the need for penetration. Both people have equal control and free hands. It's the star position for two vulvas, but it works as a friction game for any couple, and it's very low effort.

Variations of this position

1. Classic scissors: perpendicular

Both semi-reclined, legs intertwined perpendicularly, genitals in contact.

Both people semi-reclined, legs crossed perpendicularly. The most stable version to find contact.

  1. Sit facing each other and lean back slightly.
  2. Intertwine your legs in an X.
  3. Bring your pelvis together until contact and rock.

2. Side scissors: more comfortable

One on their side and the other semi-supine, with one leg hooked over the other's hip, genital contact.

One person on their side and the other semi-supine, hooking one leg over the opposite hip. Comfortable for extending.

  1. One person lies on their side, the other semi-supine.
  2. Hook one leg over the opposite hip.
  3. Adjust until comfortable contact and move the pelvis.

Frequently asked questions

Is it only for women couples?

It's the classic for two vulvas, but any couple can use it as an external friction game.

Is it hard to find the fit?

At first; try angles until the contact is comfortable and stimulating.

Does it work without penetration at all?

Yes, that's its charm: purely external intense pleasure.
